You can copy and modify the provided themes and rules for appearance and additional functionality.
Theme Description 3270-Classic-HotSpot Equivalent to 3270-Classic, except that this theme allows rendering of HotSpots for function keys PF1 - PF24. 3270-Classic Simulates a 3270 terminal, with the background and foreground colors unchanged. Protected host fields are converted to labels, and unprotected host fields are converted to text boxes. Text fields do not display with borders.
3270-HotSpot A 3270-specific JavaGUI theme that allows rendering of HotSpots for function keys PF1 - PF24. 5250-Classic-HotSpot Equivalent to 5250-Classic, except that this theme allows rendering of HotSpots for function keys F1 - F24. 5250-Classic Simulates a 5250 terminal, with the background and foreground colors unchanged. Protected host fields are converted to labels, and unprotected host fields are converted to text boxes. All text fields are displayed with Outline Bottom Border selected, which makes them appear underlined.
5250-HotSpot-2 Equivalent to the 5250-Hotspot theme, except that the key name on a HotSpot is automatically stripped off, leaving only the command name. For example, if a host screen has a HotSpot labeled F3=Exit, the text on the button would be reduced to Exit (the functionality of the button remains unchanged). 5250-HotSpot A 5250-specific Javagui theme that allows rendering of HotSpots for function keys F1 - F24. BackgroundImage Theme that uses a background image, with modified color mapping to provide the best color contrast and presentation using the background image. Javagui A Java graphical user interface, with the background color-mapped to gray, and green text to black. Protected host fields are rendered as labels, and unprotected host fields to text boxes. All text fields display with the standard boxed-line border typical of the Java/Windows environment, and have in-focus highlighting enabled.
The Javagui theme can be used with multiple hosts.
System (default) Designed to give you the best look and feel of the system OS. The System theme picks the OS on which your machine is running as the default look and feel. For example, if your machine is running on Windows, the result is a Windows look and feel. T27-Classic Simulates a T27 terminal, with the background and foreground colors unchanged. T27 is monochrome, it provides no color attributes. Protected host fields are converted to labels, and unprotected host fields are converted to text boxes. Text fields do not display with borders.
UTS-Classic Simulates a UTS terminal, with the background and foreground colors unchanged. Protected host fields are converted to labels, and unprotected host fields are converted to text boxes. Text fields do not display with borders.
Only one theme can be applied to any application. Changes or modifications to the theme (including changes to the rules) will revise all forms within a project, and applies them to any new forms and controls. However, changing or modifying a theme will not affect any forms or controls that have been previously altered by changing their location or modifying their properties in the Properties pane. Form or control property changes take precedence over all attributes of the theme. Owner: (Optional) Type your name, initials, or other meaningful characters to identify ownership of the project.
Next button: If you are creating a project using an active host session, choose to select a host type and configure connections. If you are creating a project with user-defined forms, select to name your main form.
