From the Display Properties page, you can configure the number of terminal pages to use and handling of SO/SI characters that are sent to the host.
Number of Pages: Select the maximum number of terminal emulation pages to use (19).
A page is a data buffer from the host that consists of a specific number of columns and lines. The host application determines how many pages it sends to the client. If you are unsure about the number of pages to specify, contact your host administrator.
SO/SI Extended Characters: Select this option to do the following:

Extended characters are preceded by SO (making them appear in reverse video), and followed by SI (making any subsequent characters underlined).

If you select this option, the SO/SI Translation option has no effect. |
SO/SI Translation: Select this option to do the following:
To convert To this The SO character ESC '. The SI character ESC ' /
Extended characters are preceded by ESC SO (which converts any subsequent 8-bit characters to 7-bit characters) and followed by ESC SI (which indicates that any subsequent characters will be handled as they normally would). If you clear this option, SO/SI characters are sent to the host without being converted, and any extended characters are preceded by ESC SO and followed by ESC SI.

These configuration options apply only to data being transmitted to the host, not to data received from the host.
