Assign Data to Pool Type Dialog Box

Using the Assign Data to Pool Type dialog box, you can assign any eligible data to be used as input to MCS to return the correct ID.

Eligible Data

Lists the data elements eligible to be assigned as ID Management inputs during the current event. These include:

Properties button: Displays the properties for the selected item. If there are no associated properties, this button is unavailable.

Screen Image Pane

Displays the selected screen image, based upon your selection under Eligible Data.

The current form A representation of that form is displayed within this pane. Any unprotected fields that were automatically created when the form was generated will be available, together with any controls accepting input that you may have added.
The current host application screen (indicated by an icon showing a green screen) A representation of that screen is displayed within this pane, providing an easy method for you to view the fields you can select, and a way to create your own fields.

Show User Fields: If selected, all user-defined fields on the host screen appear framed in light blue (cyan). If a Host Application screen is not selected, this option does not appear.

Show Host Fields: If selected, all host fields on the host screen appear framed in dark blue. If a Host Application screen is not selected, this option does not appear.

Create New User Field button: When selected, drag the pointer to select a new user-defined field. If a Host Application screen is not selected, this option does not appear.

Host Field/User Field list box: Displays the name of the selected field and allows you to select from complete field list. If a Host Application screen is not selected, this option does not appear.

Delete Selected User Field button: Removes the selected user-defined field from the host screen and list box. If a Host Application screen is not selected, this option does not appear.

Add Mapping button: If, under Eligible Data, you selected a data element, and, under ID Management, you selected the input, choose this button to map the data element to the ID Management input.

Mapped Items

Displays the eligible data/input mappings that have been created and that will be processed with the current ID Management action.

ID Management

The input representing the selected pool type. Select the input to map data to it.

Properties button: Displays the properties for the selected item. If there are no associated properties, this button is unavailable.
