Uninstall Reflection for Secure IT

Notes:

  • You must be logged in as an Administrator to uninstall the server.
  • To complete the server uninstall, you must restart Windows.
  • Uninstalling the server does not remove the host key or any other files created in the server data folder.

To uninstall the server

  1. From the Windows Control Panel, open Add or Remove Programs (or Programs and Features).
  2. Select Attachmate Reflection for Secure IT Server, and then click Remove.
  3. Restart Windows.

To remove the host key and additional files created by Reflection for Secure IT

  • Delete the server data folder, and all of its contents.

    Note: To permanently delete files containing sensitive data, such as the host key file and log files, you may want to use a secure deletion utility.
