Installing Reflection Administrator

The procedure to use for installing the Reflection Administrator components depends on the operating system on your computer and the servlet runner that you choose to use with Reflection.

You can use archive files (.zip or .war files) to install Reflection Administrator on any operating system, but using the automated installer where available simplifies the installation process. If you use the automatic installation procedure, you must use the servlet runner that is provided (Tomcat). If you choose to use a different servlet runner, then you must install Reflection Administrator using an archive file.

To use Reflection Administrator with your BEA AquaLogic User Interaction (formerly Plumtree) portal, or to integrate with eTrust SiteMinder or IBM WebSphere, install Reflection Administrator using one of the procedures described here. Then follow the configuration steps described in the associated Reflection for the Web External Web SiteTechnical Note.
