Configuring Components

Management Server

The Reflection management server includes the Administrative WebStation, a web site that you use to configure Reflection sessions for your users, and the Java applets used to deploy Reflection terminal sessions to your users.

The Administrative WebStation includes detailed information about and tools for configuring sessions. Use the information in the WebStation itself, as well as the online help provided with the tools, to get started. Start the Administrative WebStation and browse through the information using the left-hand table of contents and links embedded in each page to navigate.

If you have a web proxy between client machines and the Reflection management server in your network environment, you may need to complete some additional configuration before connections can be made. For detailed information, open the Administrative WebStation and go to How To > Tutorials > Using Reflection Administrator with Web Proxies.

If you cannot open the WebStation, refer to the information about possible password problems.

If you are upgrading from an earlier version of Reflection for the Web, refer to the upgrade sections for information about retaining session settings from your previous installation.
