Installing Reflection

Running the IIS Wizard

If Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) is installed on your computer, the automated installer for Windows detects IIS and asks if you want to integrate your installation of Reflection Administrator with IIS as an ISAPI filter. For details regarding configuring your IIS settings, verifying HTTPS support in IIS, and configuring your web site for Reflection, see External Web SiteTechnical Note 1798. If you want to change your settings or disconnect the integration, run the IIS Wizard.

  1. Go to Start > All Programs or Programs > Attachmate Reflection Administrator > Utilities > IIS Wizard.

  2. If you did not integrate Reflection with IIS during the automated installation process, enter the port that your IIS web server uses for HTTPS connections. The default is 443. (To verify the port used by your IIS web server, right-click your web site in the IIS console, select Properties, and click Advanced on the Web Site tab.) Go to step 4.

  3. If Reflection is already integrated with IIS, select whether to integrate with or unintegrate from IIS.

If you reintegrate Reflection with IIS, your existing settings will be overwritten: Enter the port that your IIS web server uses for HTTPS connections. The default is 443. (To verify the port used by your IIS web server, right-click your web site in the IIS console, select Properties, and click Advanced on the Web Site tab.)

If you unintegrate, Reflection will be disconnected from your IIS installation.

  4. Click Next, and then click Finish.

  5. Restart both IIS and the Reflection server.
