Returns or specifies which character set to use for transfers to and from an AS/400.

Property Value

The default value is AS400Ansi.

Exceptions

Exception	Description
Attachmate.Reflection.SecuredSettingException	This exception is thrown when you modify a Reflection property that has been secured via the Permissions Manager, or if such a modification requires Administrator privileges.

Remarks

This property is relevant for data that contains characters with decimal values above 127. (The ANSI and ASCII character sets have the same values for characters with decimal values from 32-126.) This property affects AS/400 data transfer.
