Customizing Reflection

You can customize Reflection by:

• Creating customized session documents which contain configuration settings for host-specific information. These documents also include pointers to other files that control the appearance of the session, such as the theme file, and to files that control input and text handling, such as the keyboard map file and the Ribbon file.
• Creating printer sessions.
• Creating workspaces, which affect all terminal session and Web page documents opened in Reflection. Workspace configuration settings include security, file locations, and other settings related to Reflection.
• Restricting user access to application features to disable the functionality of features you do not want to support.

After you customize Reflection, you can deploy the configuration files that specify your customization in a companion install package.

Notes:

• There are no document configuration settings for Web page documents.
• Printer sessions and FTP client sessions open in windows outside the Reflection workspace. They are configured from within those windows, instead of the workspace.
• Some configuration files from previous versions of the Reflection can be reused. For a list of files, refer to the topic Upgrading from Previous Versions.
