Minimize the Ribbon
In the area between the Quick Access Toolbar and the document window is the Ribbon, a dynamic, collapsible device that organizes commands, buttons, and other controls on tabs for each task area.
You can minimize the Ribbon to provide more working area in the Reflection window. You can either:
- Temporarily minimize the Ribbon as you work in a session.
- Or -
- Permanently minimize the Ribbon so that it is always minimized when you open Reflection.
To temporarily minimize the Ribbon
- Double-click a Ribbon tab (for example, Appearance). To restore the Ribbon, double-click a tab again.
The Ribbon remains minimized only until you close Reflection. (When Reflection is reopened, the ribbon is maximized.)
To permanently minimize the Ribbon
- Click the Quick Access Toolbar menu button.
- In the menu list, choose Minimize the Ribbon.
Notes:
You can restore the Ribbon by clicking the Quick Access Toolbar menu button and then choosing Maximize the Ribbon.
If you are using a default 3270 or 5250 keyboard map, you can press CTRL+F1 to permanently minimize or restore the Ribbon.
