XfrRemoteFile Property


Returns or specifies a host file or files for the PC to receive (for transfers from the host), or for the host to receive (for transfers to the host).

Exceptions
ExceptionDescription
Attachmate.Reflection.SecuredSettingException This exception is thrown when you modify a Reflection property that has been secured via the Permissions Manager, or if such a modification requires Administrator privileges.
System.ArgumentNullException Thrown if the set parameter is null (Nothing in Visual Basic). Use an zero-length string to indicate an empty value.
System.ArgumentException Thrown if the set parameter length is too long.
Remarks
This property only affects file transfer done using the File Transfer dialog box. If you are transferring files programmatically using IndReceiveFile method or IndSendFile method, you must specify the local file name using the HostFile argument.

Use commas to separate multiple file names, for example:

FileTransfer.XfrRemoteFile = "test1 data, test2 data"

This property affects IND$FILE data transfer and is only for 3270 sessions. The default value is "". This string can be up to 260 characters long.
