Syntax

object.XfrIndStrucFldSz
object.XfrIndStrucFldSz = Value

Data type

Enumeration

Description

Returns (first syntax line) or specifies (second syntax line) whether Reflection should use the Write Structured Field protocol for IND$FILE transfers and, if so, which size buffer to use.

This property affects IND$FILE transfer and is applicable to 3270 sessions only.

Values

The default is rcSF4k. (It is rcSF2k if you are running a Japanese version of Reflection.)

rcSFDisabled Use the Buffered protocol instead of the Write Structured Field protocol.

rcSF2k Use the Write Structured Field protocol with a 2K buffer.

rcSF4k Use the Write Structured Field protocol with a 4K buffer.

rcSF8k Use the Write Structured Field protocol with a 8K buffer.

rcSF16k Use the Write Structured Field protocol with a 16K buffer.

rcSF32k Use the Write Structured Field protocol with a 32K buffer.

Comments

If you specify a value that is too large for your host, it will disconnect your session when you first attempt to send a file big enough to fill the buffer. Most systems support values up to 8K.
