Programming with Reflection
Xfr400CompatibleAsciiFile property
Syntax |
object.Xfr400CompatibleAsciiFile |
Data type |
Returns (first syntax line) or specifies (second syntax line) whether Reflection uses the buffer length instead of the field length of a packed decimal field to determine the size the fields will be on the PC. This mimics the way that the products Rumba (from NetManage) and Extra! (from Attachmate) perform this same operation.
When set to False, the extra byte that appears as a space in front of even length fields is eliminated.
This setting applies to 5250 sessions only.
The default is False. (True if you are running a Japanese version of Reflection.)
