Data type

Returns (first syntax line) or specifies (second syntax line) how the recorder behaves when you record actions that send keystrokes to the host. When this property is True, recorded procedures include a WaitForEvent command to ensure that the host is ready to receive transmitted keystrokes. As a result, recorded macros will pause and wait for the cursor to be properly positioned before proceeding.

When this property is False, the initial WaitForEvent command is not recorded and recorded macros will not wait for the cursor to enter a particular position before proceeding. Change this property to False if you want users to be able to position the cursor in one of several possible positions before using a recorded macro.

The default value is True.

The value of this property affects only the inital wait command. Subsequent wait commands are recorded to prevent keyboard errors that may occur if data is sent before the host is ready.
