Syntax

object.LanguageOverride
object.LanguageOverride = Value

Data type

Enumeration

Description

Returns (first syntax line) or specifies (second syntax line) what language Reflection uses for menus, dialog boxes, and Help when you start a new session. In most cases you can leave this value at its default and Reflection will select the correct language based on your system configuration. This setting is saved to the registry and takes effect the next time you start a Reflection session; it does not affect the current session. For example, after the following statement is executed, new Reflection sessions will use a French language interface:

Session.LanguageOverride = rcFrenchLanguage

If you specify a language and you have not installed support for the selected language, Reflection selects a language based on your current system configuration and what Reflection language support you have installed.

This property is similar to Locale , however Locale saves language information to a settings file. When you open a settings file, Reflection uses the current value of the Locale setting. Use Language Override to select a language for all new sessions.

Values

The default value is rcOverrideOff

rcOverrideOff Reflection selects a language based on your current system configuration and what Reflection language support you have installed.

rcEnglishLanguage New sessions use English.

rcFrenchLanguage New sessions use French.

rcGermanLanguage New sessions use German.

rcJapaneseLanguage New sessions use Japanese.
