FindText method

Syntax Found = object.FindText(SearchFor, StartRow, StartColumn, Options)

# Description

Searches for the specified text and identifies the row and column coordinates for the beginning of the text if it is found.

# Arguments

SearchFor Argument type: String
The text to search for. The search is case sensitive.

StartRow Argument type: Integer
The row in which to start searching. You can use rcMouseRow to specify the row where the mouse was last clicked.

StartColumn Argument type: Integer
The column in which to start searching. You can use rcMouseCol to specify the column where the mouse was last clicked.

Options Argument type: Enumeration
There is only one possible option for this argument, rcNoTranslation, indicating that the Text is not translated from the PC character set to the host character set. You can omit this argument.

# Returns

Found Return type: Boolean
Returns True (-1) if the specified string is found, False (0) if not.

FindText sets the values of the following properties:

FoundTextRow The row in which the beginning of the text was found.

FoundTextColumn The column in which the beginning of the text was found.

If the text is not found, the value of these properties is set to zero.
