Copying, Renaming, or Deleting a Configuration or Distribution

To copy a configuration or distribution
  1. In the MCS Selection panel, point to Products and then click INFOConnect Enterprise Edition.

    2. The INFOConnect Enterprise Edition tree appears.

  2. Click Configuration Manager or Distribution Manager, then select the configuration or distribution you want to copy.

  3. Click Copy at the bottom of the MCS Management panel.

    4. The Copy dialog box appears.

  4. Type the name of the new configuration or distribution, and, if desired, select the option Copy Assigned Users.

  5. Click OK.

    6. The new configuration or distribution appears in the list.

To rename a configuration or distribution
Note A configuration file or package cannot be renamed if you have already assigned it to a user.
  1. In the MCS Selection panel, point to Products and then click INFOConnect Enterprise Edition.

    2. The INFOConnect Enterprise Edition tree appears.

  2. Click Configuration Manager or Distribution Manager, then select the configuration or distribution you want to rename.

  3. Click Rename at the bottom of the MCS Management panel.

    4. The Rename dialog box appears.

  4. Type the a new name for the configuration or distribution.

  5. Click OK.

    6. The configuration or distribution appears in the list with its new name.

To delete a configuration or distribution
  1. In the MCS Selection panel, point to Products and then click INFOConnect Enterprise Edition.

    2. The INFOConnect Enterprise Edition tree appears.

  2. Click Configuration Manager or Distribution Manager, then select the configuration or distribution you want to delete.

  3. Click Delete at the bottom of the MCS Management panel.

    4. A message box appears, prompting you to confirm the deletion.

  4. Click Yes.

    5. The configuration or distribution is removed from the list.
