Configuration List Page

From this page, you can view the configurations created for the configuration type you selected in the Terminal Viewers navigation tree, and create, edit, copy, or delete configurations. You can also assign user permissions to configurations.

New Configuration: Click this link to start the New Configuration wizard, which walks you through the steps necessary to create a new configuration. The type of configuration you can create is based on the configuration type you selected in the Terminal Viewers navigation tree (for example, Terminal, Express Terminal, ActiveX Terminal, EXTRA! Enterprise Configuration, Host Graphics Option, HotGUI Terminal, Printer, File Transfer, or Terminal Layouts).

Note In this release, Layouts can only include the following configuration types: 3270 Terminal, 3270 Printer, 5250 Terminal, 5250 Printer, and VT Terminal.

Permissions: Click to assign permissions to user and groups to enable them to update specific types of configuration information.

Configuration List

A three-column list that displays all of the configurations that have been created for the configuration type you selected in the Terminal Viewers navigation tree.

To sort the items in this list, click a column heading. For example, to list the configurations in alphabetic order based on their names, click the Name column heading. To reverse the order of the sort, click the column heading again.

Name: The name of the configuration.

Host Address: The domain name or IP address of the remote host associated with the configuration.

Description: The description of the configuration, if one was specified when it was created.

Properties: Click to view or edit the selected configuration.

Copy: Creates a copy of the selected configuration.

Rename: Click to assign a new name to the selected configuration.

Delete: Deletes the selected configuration.
