System Requirements

Note Many of the installation options require Microsoft Windows Installer version 2.0, which is included with Windows XP.

If you are running Windows 2000, you may update your installer using Microsoft Update. If you are running Windows NT run the instmsiw.exe file (on the CD under the INFOEE directory). If you are running Windows 98 run the instmsia.exe file (on the CD under the INFOEE directory).

  • For the spell-checking feature in the Advanced Productivity Pack to be enabled, Microsoft Office 2000 or later must be present on the client computer.

    Office can be installed either before or after INFOConnect; however, if it is not present during INFOConnect installation, a warning is displayed.

  • Using INFOConnect in multi-user mode requires one of the following applications and adherence to the terms of the license agreement.

    • Windows 2000 Server (latest SP) Windows Terminal Services
    • Windows Server 2003 Windows Terminal Services
    • Citrix MetaFrame XP Presentation Server, Feature Release 2 or later
