EXTRA! is a Windows desktop application that gives you access to multiple host types on your enterprise network - IBM Mainframe, IBM AS/400, VAX/VMS, UNIX, or asynchronous systems - via most direct, remote, or LAN connections. From the point-and-click environment of your PC you can run host applications, transfer files, and integrate data into Windows programs. To simplify your interaction with host resources, use the EXTRA! graphical, navigational, and macro tools.
