Installing Tandem Emulation

Support for Tandem emulation is provided as an option to EXTRA! X-treme. It must be installed separately, after EXTRA! X-treme has been installed.

To order support for Tandem emulation, contact your Attachmate sales representative.

To install Tandem emulation
  1. Install EXTRA! X-treme.

  2. Insert the CD labeled EXTRA! X-treme 6530 Client Option in the CD drive.

    If the setup utility does not run automatically, browse to the CD root directory and double-click install.exe.

  3. Click EXTRA! 6530 Client Option.

  4. Select a language, and then click OK.

  5. Respond to the subsequent prompts.
Note Tandem emulation support can also be installed from a network location or from the command line using the file EE906530.msi.
