- In the MCS Selection panel, point to Products and then click Terminal Viewers.
- In the Terminal Viewers tree, choose a host type.
The configuration types you can configure for the selected host type appear.
- If necessary, click next to a configuration type to further expand the list of configuration types.
- Select a configuration type.
The Configuration List page appears.
- Select a configuration from the list, then click the Properties button in the lower right corner of the window.
The Properties of Configuration name page appears, showing the categories of properties that can be configured.
- From the Select Property to Configure list, select Keyboard, and then click the Configure button.
The Keyboard Remapper appears.
- Drag an action from the Actions tree to the desired key on the keyboard map.
If you are mapping the action to a combination keystroke (for example, a keystroke preceded by a modifier key such as Shift, Alt, or Ctrl), click the modifier key or key combination before dragging the action to the desired key. Place the mouse cursor over the newly mapped key and a tooltip shows you the action assigned to it.

Certain keys and key combinations, such as Alt+Tab, are reserved by the operating system or are translated by the keyboard driver. These keys are unavailable for remapping. For a complete list of unavailable keys and key combinations, see Keys Unavailable for Remapping. |
- Click OK.
