Overview: Creating Custom Presentations

A presentation is a Web page that presents your Terminal Viewer or EXTRA! X-treme configuration to end users within their browser. Terminal Viewers and Configuration Manager automatically create default presentations which are not configurable, but function well to deliver host access. To customize a presentation, you use Presentation Integrator.

With Presentation Integrator, you can add custom headers, footers, and backgrounds to a presentation. You can configure how the presentation displays within the end user's browser too (whether it opens a new window, shows the browser's menu bar, and so on), and add other Terminal Viewers or EXTRA! X-treme configurations to a presentation, creating a powerful workspace for end users who need to work with multiple applications at the same time. Custom presentations can also include a Presentation Builder custom application or any Web-compatible document.

Note If you have multiple copies of MCS installed (known as a "server cluster"), you must specify the primary MCS server when setting up Presentation Integrator to access or publish presentations on MCS. To determine which is the primary server, under Related Topics, see Changing Server Priority.
