Administrators can use the Distribution Manager to distribute EXTRA! X-treme, EXTRA! X-treme Options, EXTRA! X-treme Connections, and later service packs or patchs from Management & Control Services (MCS). If the Attachmate Installer Service is installed on client computers, this method can be used to install EXTRA! for users with restricted rights in Windows. Distributable .MSI files can be installed from the Fulol-featured Emulation Options CD when you install MCS and management components.
The distributed EXTRA! X-treme .MSI file must remain on the client computer in order to install patches. It is stored under drive:\Documents and Settings\Attachmate\Documents.
