Note
  • When you install MCS, the installation process checks for the presence of an existing MCS installation, version 2.01 or later. If such an existing installation is present, it is upgraded by the installation process.

  • With a WebSphere application server, only upgrades are supported.

  • If you use HTTP Engine and IIS redirection, IIS must be configured to both run on and use port 80.

  • If the Java plug-in is not already installed when you attempt to run the MCS console, you will be prompted to install the plug-in. If you continue, MCS installs the plug-in for you.
