Overview: Monitoring Client Activity
Within MCS, there are several ways to monitor your custom applications and how they're being used. You can:
- Record and log system events that are generated by several MCS services and EXTRA! X-treme sessions. The event service can generally run unattended.
- View and save trace data from viewer sessions with the MCS tracing function.
- View current and historical consumption information about viewer licenses from the MCS Metering pages.
- Provide host access IDs to viewers at run time, view allocated IDs, and reclaim IDs that are no longer in use.
