Host Information
Host Name: Type the name or IP address of the firewall host. This may be different from the name of the host to which you will ultimately connect.
Port: Type the port number for your firewall host.
User ID: Type your user name.
Password: Type your password, which is hidden as a series of asterisks.
Save Password: Select this option to save your password in your connection file. Use caution when saving your password in a connection file. Although your password is encrypted when it is saved, it can still be copied by another user.
Passive Mode Transfers: In passive mode, the host waits for a request before sending data.
Use Passive Mode when Transferring Files: Select this option to use passive mode. This works for most servers and is sometimes necessary if the client is behind a firewall. If you use an FTP proxy, select this option. If your FTP connection fails with this option selected, try reconnecting with the option cleared. The default is selected.
