Use the options in this dialog box to add a path to the Start in this Folder drop-down list in the Advanced Page, or to edit passwords for an existing folder. If you connect to a host that does not inherently use tree-style file navigation, you can add folders in this manner to create a tree in the File Transfer main window.
Folder to be Added: Type a new path in the format expected by your host. It is important that this information is typed correctly because it is not verified by Attachmate File Transfer. This option is not available when editing passwords for an existing folder.
Examples
For a VM/CMS shared file system, type your path in the form FileSystem:MyDir.dir
For a VM/CMS minidisk, type your path in the form MyID.HexDiskNumber.FileName
For OS2200, type your path in the form Qualifier*Name.
File Passwords:
Read: Type your password for Read access. The password is hidden as a series of asterisks. If access to this folder requires only one password, do not type a password here.
Write: Type your password for Write access or if access to this folder requires only one password. The password is hidden as a series of asterisks.
Save Passwords: Save your password or passwords for logging in to this folder. Use caution when saving your passwords. Although they are encrypted when saved, your passwords can still be copied by another user. If you dont save your passwords, they are used only for the current session. When you use this connection in subsequent sessions, you will be prompted to resupply the passwords.
